We are hiring an Assistant Manager-Procurement to join our high impact team delivering a large scale hospital construction and commissioning project scheduled to go live in October 2026. This position plays a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end healthcare procurement process, from vendor selection to delivery and installation.
As Assistant Manager – Procurement, you will be responsible for sourcing and securing critical supplies such as biomedical equipment, medical devices, IT systems (ERP/HIS), MEP services and furniture and fixtures (FF&E). The role demands expertise in healthcare procurement, project coordination and vendor negotiations to ensure timely and compliant execution.
Key duties include floating RFQs, preparing comparative bids, managing contracts and POs and coordinating deliveries with internal teams and vendors. You will over see the procurement of advanced medical technologies such as MRI, CT, and OR/ICU devices, in collaboration with clinical and biomedical stakeholders.
You will also lead IT procurement evaluating HIS/ERP platforms and overseeing infrastructure such as servers, networks and end-user devices. Coordination with consultants for MEP and facility readiness is key.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, documentation standards, warranties, AMC management, and SLA tracking is essential. You will maintain procurement trackers, status reports and support audits with thorough compliance documentation.
Required: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering; 7–8 year’s experience in hospital procurement or healthcare infrastructure projects. Skills in vendor management, biomedical sourcing, IT procurement and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) are critical.
